CTS Hire expands popular specialist food waste hire fleet

A well-established supplier of municipal & specialist vehicles CTS Hire has announced additional investment into dedicated food waste hire vehicles as well as further expansion of its RCV fleet.  

The new vehicles will help meet growing demand for specialist food waste vehicles across local authorities and the private sector driven by new government regulations. This is the latest in a series of significant vehicle orders by CTS Hire in recent years and further demonstration of the company’s commitment to continually refreshing its hire fleet.

“Simpler Recycling regulations for businesses have led to a growing demand for specialist food waste vehicles. These trucks are popular with our customers and can be relied on to do the job efficiently and effectively. Hiring offers operators the chance to try different configurations, powertrains, or chassis providers and see what will work best before buying outright. Understanding how a truck performs on their rounds and getting accurate feedback from their teams takes away a lot of risk for stretched purchase departments.”


CTS Hire has selected Dennis Eagle and Terberg Matec UK for its latest fleet upgrade which includes 26-tonne Olympus OL19 bodies on an Elite+ Narrow chassis with Terberg bin lifts, 26-tonne Olympus Twin Packs on an Elite+ Narrow chassis with OmniDEL split lifts, and ORUS 7HD compact satellite collection food waste vehicles.
